Background
About Mitch
Mitch joined the Move Physiotherapy team in 2022. A graduate of Curtin University, he has combined his physiotherapy training with extensive experience as a Strength Coach to become a well-rounded clinician who treats the whole athlete, not just the injury.
An avid learner, Mitch keeps up with the latest research — completing courses, reading journal articles, and following a wide range of education platforms. He is strongly evidence-based in his treatment, ensuring high-quality education on injury timeframes, rehabilitation requirements, and injury prevention.
Mitch has a particular interest in lower limb overuse injuries — including tendon pathologies and bone stress injuries such as shin splints and stress fractures. Having experienced bone-stress injuries personally, he brings genuine empathy and a deep understanding of the recovery pathway to these patients. He has also carved a niche as one of the leading physiotherapists in ACL rehabilitation.
He also enjoys working with those experiencing long-standing pain, taking particular interest in demystifying pain and debunking common myths about health and exercise to help people take control of their bodies and day-to-day function.
