Background
About Daniel
Daniel Ryan graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. His early career included a role in the picturesque South Australian town of Victor Harbor, where he combined hospital-based and private practice musculoskeletal physiotherapy — including significant post-operative rehabilitation for knee and hip replacements and rotator cuff repairs.
He then moved to the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, working at one of the premier sports injury clinics alongside physiotherapists with experience at the national level in the AFL, NRL and Motocross. Daniel has worked with Division 1 Australian Rules and Soccer clubs in both South Australia and Victoria.
Daniel moved to Perth in 2017, working across several clinics with a significant clinical Pilates focus before founding Move Physiotherapy at the Fremantle Rowing Club in 2018. The practice has since grown to three locations across Perth.
In addition to his musculoskeletal work, Daniel has extensive experience in acute neurological rehabilitation, having worked at one of the leading stroke rehabilitation units in Adelaide. He continues to see a number of long-term neurological clients and remains passionate about this area of care.
