Free Second Opinion
Physio is more than one treatment
A back that flares up every few months. A hamstring that tightens up every time you run. A shoulder that’s never been quite right. If you’re stuck in that cycle, or you’ve been told the answer is a scan, an injection or surgery, it’s worth getting a second opinion before you commit to anything.
Physiotherapy gives you a number of options, and the right one depends on what’s driving your problem. That might be hands-on treatment to settle pain and get you moving again. It might be a targeted exercise program to build the strength and capacity your body needs. Or it might be a true biomechanical assessment of why a muscle keeps getting tight in the first place.
That last one matters more than most people realise. A muscle that tightens up again and again is often working overtime: compensating for a joint that isn’t moving well, a weaker muscle nearby, or the way you load it when you run, lift or sit at your desk. Stretching or massage can ease it for a while, but if the cause isn’t found, it keeps coming back. Our VALD force plates and dynamometers measure your strength and side-to-side differences, so we work from data, not guesswork.
On a free 15-minute call, Daniel or Jeremy will hear your story and tell you honestly which of these is likely to help, or whether physio is the right path at all. Treatment is at our Jandakot clinic: a 350m² rehab gym at 100 Prinsep Road, minutes from Cockburn Central.
