Mitch Repsevicius
Physiotherapist – East Fremantle
Mitch joined the Move Physiotherapy team in 2022. A graduate of Curtin University, he has been able to combine his Physiotherapy training; with extensive experience as a Strength Coach and trainer to become a well rounded physiotherapist.
A key factor in his skill as a Physiotherapist, Mitch is an avid learner in the field – completing various courses, reading countless journal articles; and following a variety of podcast and education platforms. As such, Mitch is strongly evidence based in his treatment – ensuring high quality education on injury timeframes, requirements of rehabilitation; and how to prevent injuries from reoccurring.
Mitch has experience in a wide range of sports, both as an athlete and as a physiotherapist. He has a particular interest in lower limb overuse injuries – this includes tendon injuries and bone stress injuries such as shin splints and stress fractures. He unfortunately has personal experience with these bone-stress type injuries, but as such, can understand the impact of these injuries and the recovery pathway. Mitch has also carved a niche as one of the leading physiotherapists in the field of ACL recovery.
Mitch also enjoys working with those with long-standing pain, and takes particular interest in demystifying pain; and what can often be a complex and confusing topic. He aims to debunk common myths about general health and exercise to empower people to take control of their pain and day-to-day function.
Mitch strongly believes in an active and strength-based approach and believes it is very powerful to experience the benefits movement and load have on the body.
