Amir Baraei
Remedial Massage Therapist / Sports Scientist – Booragoon & Beeliar
Director – Move Physiotherapy Beeliar
Amir Baraei brings a wealth of experience to Move Physiotherapy. He joined the team in 2019 at Move Physiotherapy Booragoon and became director of Move Physiotherapy Beeliar in 2024. His qualifications include a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy achieved in 2018; and a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science in 2021.
Amir has perfected both his manual therapy skills – including remedial massage and dry needling – in addition to his exercise rehabilitation. This means he can apply these hands on therapies to reduce your pain; and prescribe appropriate exercise to rehabilitate your injury. With passion and dedication, Amir has grown a strong community reputation for improving your physical strength beyond what people have believed his possible.
In addition to working in Booragoon at the inception of Move Physiotherapy, he has held roles with the Perth Glory Soccer team, Western Force Rugby Team and treated a number of professional athletes in both the NRL and AFL.
Amir also has a personal background in sports competing in Water Polo at the international level. His personal highlight was being a member of the leadership team in the Iranian Water Polo squad.
The team at Move Physiotherapy is excited and privileged to have Amir as part of our team. He is currently working in both Booragoon and Beeliar in a Full Time Capacity. Appointments are limited and must be booked in advance.
