Alex Gratwick
Physiotherapist & Strength and Conditioning Coach – Booragoon & Beeliar

Alex Gratwick joins Move Physiotherapy with a diverse background in fitness and support, bringing a unique blend of experience to the team. After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Notre Dame, Alex has dedicated his career to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals.

Before joining Move Physiotherapy, Alex honed his skills as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer at Fremantle Leisure Centre. In this role, he provided valuable education and motivation to clients of all ages, crafting personalized exercise programs that maximized their potential. His commitment to client satisfaction led him to serve as a stand-in supervisor, overseeing operations and supporting staff.

Prior to this, Alex managed Boom Fitness in East Fremantle from February 2014 to February 2019. There, he not only managed his own caseload but also assisted colleagues in scheduling and daily operations. His leadership and dedication were instrumental in creating a supportive environment for clients and staff alike.

Alex has also served as a Support Worker with Rapport Australia, working closely with individuals with disabilities. This role deepened his understanding of effective communication and empathetic support, allowing him to facilitate meaningful engagement in social and daily activities.

Alex’s strong skills in building rapport, critical thinking, and time management, combined with his extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, make him a valuable asset to the Move Physiotherapy team. His passion for helping others achieve their best selves is evident in every interaction.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy/Exercise and Sport Science
  • Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Challenger TAFE Beaconsfield, 2013)
